Maverick, of Blue Ash, was founded in 1993 by two former GE Aircraft engine engineers. Operating in 40,000 square feet of research and manufacturing space, the company's high-tech workers develop advanced materials and transition those technologies to the automotive, chemical, medical and aerospace industries. Clients include Boeing Company, Chromalloy, Cytec, Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Fiber Innovations, GE Transportation, GKN Aerospace, Pratt and Whitney and Raytheon. The company manufactures resin in lot quantities from 10 to 10,000 pounds. The company has steadily grown since it's formation in the Hamilton County Business Center incubator in Norwood. In late 2010, the company had more than 30 employees, up from 10 in 2006, and expected employment to grow another 15 percent to 25 percent by the end of 2011.
